My parents have gotten older and developed some chronic illnesses over the past few years, and I am looking at ways to help them by Austin estate planning. When I was looking at all of the paperwork that they have, I noticed that they have not done any type of estate planning.
When I talked to them about it, they were under the impression that estate planning was something that only rich people needed. I explained to them that this was not the case. We are now trying to get everything finalized so that they both will be taken care of in the future.
